i'm getting pretty anxious, too. nearly every day i give my husband a little countdown time to the release date - actually, i give him several based on the multiple dates being thrown around out there. at this point, he probably wants the iphone to be released asap so i will stop reciting the countdown daily. :p

Is time slowing down?

I am really beginning to believe in Einstein's theory of relativity. Time seems to be slowing down the closer we get to release. I am praying for the 11th, but realistically expecting the 21st of June. Watch Apple delay it till the first day of July. I will probably be dead by then.

My impatience is starting to grow and its going to get much worse when they release an official date. When its unknown, its not so bad. When you have a date, you start to count down the days.

I have never been a patient person ... when I got my new TV, I rented a truck, drove an hour away to the warehouse to pick it up. Why ? Because, I didn't want to wait 2 days for delivery.

When my MBP was being delivered ... I stayed up all night to make sure I greeted the Fedex guy at the door.

I can't tell you how many times I drove great distances in order to get my new toy ... that day.

Crap, most of the time I can't stand waiting for something to be sent over night.

My girlfriend is picking me up one for my birthday (end of june) the day its released... I cannot wait any longer. I keep walking around going "I could be using my iPhone right now" when I'm bored somewhere. "I could have google maps open with directions right now..." etc...

awesome we have guinea pigs to try out this thing. i'll way till the 2nd rev at least. ;)

My evil plot, is that when Rev B comes out (With 3G or other coolness) ... I will buy my 2nd one, and give my girlfriend my first one. She already knows it, and has no problems with it.

So, the great thing is that I will be able to use the phone while waiting on the better model to be released :D

Stop your whining. I'll be waiting a lot longer than you guys. At least 5 years or however long their exclusive contract with Suckgular is ;)

If you are seriously going to wait 5 years to get it ... you prolly won't want it then. Something better will come along, or Apple will create an even better iPhone by then and sign another exclusive.

I'm eager for this to come out b/c I am in need of a new plan, and I'm moving to an area serviced mainly by Cingular. I'm thinking I can justify the price of the phone so that I have something that will easily sync up with my iCal and Address Book from my Macbook.

Nevertheless, $499 is awful steep no matter how I look at it, so the plan prices will be a big factor for me also...along with whether my new job expects me to be accessible 24/7 and if they are willing to chip in to cover the cost...

Anyway, since having my first cell phone I've never been more than a week or so w/o coverage. Therefore, these next few weeks will be tough!

my breaking-down Sony Ericsson is on its last legs. Everytime my friends call they say "what!? I can't hear you your phone is really staticy" I think to myself, "soon, i wont have to deal with this anymore!" The wait continues it'll be mine soon enough.

Ya, switching away from Verizon is going to be nice because it will reduce my bill by $150. Long story short, I got a 5000 minute plan when I was telecommuting everyday. Now that I moved close to the office, I don't need the minutes I had before. Bad thing is, that I couldn't downgrade my plan without extending my contract.

Come to think of it, I should have downgraded it 3 months ago ... the money saved in 1 month would have been enough to cover getting out of the contract. Oh well, live and learn.

I don't even care as much about owning it, that's not what I'm really worried about. I just want to go to the Cingular store for about seven hours and play with it (and if they try to get it away from me, they'll have to kill me!) Hopefully it comes out soon! I'm expecting June 30th, as Steve Jobs said it would be...

Only reason I'm tired of waiting is because once the thing comes out, they can shift their focus back on Leopard and their computer hardware.

I am going to be very curious about demand for this thing. I hope it doesn't turn into a Wii thing. Then we all might have to wait until November to get one.

I just keep checking my iPhone widget hoping I've slept through a few days and the launch is closer.:)

I'm still not helping your pathetic cause. Why don't you get a real job and be grateful for that Treo you already have. Put that $600 you get for the iPhone and spend it on your kids, you dope.
