This is quite a massive downgrade in terms of screen size. Why get the biggest iPad that Apple has to offer, if you weren't entirely satisfied with the display in the first place?

I got the 2017 12.9" because I wanted a bigger display for comics and PDFs. It was great for those tasks and I was using it exclusively for a time but after a honeymoon period of about two months, I found it was too heavy and bulky for me for general reading and bed/couch surfing. Ended up going back to the Pro 10.5 for the most part. Then I got the Mini and it became my most used iPad.

Like I mentioned earlier, sometimes the only way you learn what fits you best is by trying.

Yeap, i just received a parcel with Iphone 12 for family member. While setting up for some reason it felt much better than the Pro 15 that i have - it was much lighter and easier to use. And i didn't even notice the 60hz.

This really had me thinking if my next iphone would be the SE4 or regular iphone 17 alikes. I've had my fair share of Pro Max and Pro, regular and mini sized iphones - having tried them all my favorite was 13 mini, which was unobtanium so that i settled on 15 pro. For some crazy reason I have the best memories of my cheapest iphones and almost like full priced Pro models do not deliver that much of an excitement. But I would have never known that if i never tried to go Pro max and Pro route.

Currently sitting here and deciding between Mini 7 and M4 11". I think my heart wants the mini but the brain says the Pro.

Being my only "computer" I could not see myself going to a 7 inches non pro.
The 11 is the perfect fit, it has the promotion, the ability to use stage manager and the support for external screen.
All that by remaining portable, I had the 13 before but it's to bulky as a tablet, it's great as computer.

The 11 can be both a great tablet and a great computer to me.

Unless you need them for a certain task, I don't see the point of having 13” iPads from the first go… special if you also have MBA/MBP.

I have mine as I want a tablet - not a laptop - with a large display and don't want an MBA/MBP.
