Same. And I also use the Kindle app at night because the actual Kindle doesn't have a backlight.
Same. Only problem with this is that the Kindle's battery life is so much better with the modem turned off that I usually leave it off, which jacks the automatic cross-device whispersyncing feature.
Otherwise I love that I can just pick up the book on my iPhone if my Kindle isn't handy.

Same here. I love being able to go through several novels between charges on the Kindle. I only ever turn the wireless on to buy more books.
I just try to keep a rough idea of where I was and then find it manually when I use the iPhone. Inefficient, but it works.
It's comfortable for short periods of time, but not extended reading. That's what the Kindle is for
I've read a full one already and have gotten through pieces of 3 or 4 more. I'll often read just a page or two when waiting for something. One major thing I found out was the sepia text color is way better than the black or white. It's pretty close to a backlit piece of paper.
