I want black or purple. A little over a week until I can pay off my 13PM, so I'll check them out in an Apple Store first.
Once it's in the case I won't know what colour it is. Heck in a few weeks I won't even remember what colour it is.

I always go with the Pro Max. With the amount of YouTube / web-browsing I do + extended battery life.. the Pro Max is a no-brainer for me.
I have never had a purple phone and am looking forward to seeing deep purple on Friday.
It's going to be a love or hate for me. I too, look forward to getting mine in. But I'm preparing myself for disappointment lol. That Space Black looks so clean this year.. even the Silver looks more like a pure white on the back. Decisions
Yes! I have had white/silver for the last three phones- always love that fresh looking color combo. However when ordering yesterday through my carrier, I see the silver is delayed until almost Halloween, but I could get black by end of this month- or gold by middle of next week. I had gold previously on my 6S and 7 and always liked those- and I still love the gold on my wife's XS Max. So, I went ahead and ordered gold this time around.

I got my first gold iPhone last year on the 13 Pro Max. It has a nice cream/off-white color on the back which coincidentally matches a lot of the neutral clothing I wear and sneakers (s/o vintage Jordan 1's). It appears this year's gold iPhone is even more gold on the back. It looks flashier
The Space Black really doesn't look Space Black to me. If I end up being disappointed with the Purple, it really won't be a big deal since I use a case. Worst scenario is I end up exchanging for Gold.
Yea I wish Apple would go back to like a pure black / Jet Black. Hell if I could decide, I would do an iPhone 4 “Re-Imagined”. Back black glass would be sick.
For several years I’ve been doing the black/grey to silver and back rotation. This year it’s back to silver. Noooooo doubt it.
I originally ordered silver, then about an hour later cancelled and switched to purple. After watching more videos, I'm kinda regretting that choice. Mostly because of fewer case options that match the phone, and the silver looks so damn clean.
I went from Sierra Blue to Space Black. No regrets. I‘m not a purple fan so happy with my choice.
