Anyone order a new Mac Pro recently

Same here...

Ordered three 12-Core, dual GPU machines about two weeks ago. Delivery time was 3-5 business days, but still nothing from Apple. Would love to have waited for a refresh, but couldn't swing it. Fingers crossed this delay means something, but who knows...

I was planning on ordering a new Mac Pro at the end of the month so I hope systems start arriving or the delivery estimate is updated. I have a few trips planned in May and with my luck they would ship and deliver while I was away.

I've never had to wait this long on a computer from Apple before. Ordered March 29, meant to ship "3-5 business days" after ordering, April 5th I get an email saying the revised ship date is Apr 11, with the exact same wording they were sending to people who ordered iMacs last year: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1142669/

But that date came and went with still no word from Apple.

I ordered a 12-core Mac Pro with the upgraded 2.93 GHz processors and the upgraded video card. Otherwise it's stock.

That is a crazy long time. Have you called to ask status? If so what was their response?

I've been badgering them repeatedly for information.

There has been one update, which is that the original order on Mar 29 was screwed up. The revised "order date" is Apr 10. However, that's still 13 days ago, and it's still "processing" not "preparing for shipment" or "shipped".

While not as absurd as Mar 29 until now, I still think it's been far too long. I'm wondering if I might be lucky enough to be on the same timeline as this guy, who waited just over 2 weeks.

Not sure if this yields any more clues, but apparently the device is shipping from within North America, not direct from China.

My rep has assured me they've been in direct contact with Logistics, who were confident last week that it would ship by the 18th. At this point they've simply said they expected it to have shipped by now, and Logistics have not provided them with another timeframe.
