Yes, Apple is selling the new (2018) version of the 61W adapter with the 15V profile.

The Apple link above is MRW22LL. The old version is MNF72LL.
Thanks got it, now one last thing, will the cable that came with iPad Pro 2018 would give same charging speed as with this thunderbolt 3 usb c cable from apple? That cable 0.8m cable is $39 from apple.

I don't think you need to buy that cable - fast charging doesn't require TB3. Use the one that came in the box.

I bought a couple of these Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Usb Type-C Cables last week when they were $10 each.

Would these fast charge a 2018 12.9" iPad Pro with the correct charger? It's one with the 15V/3A profile, right?

Good price. I see

Stay Charged
The Thunderbolt 3 Cable delivers up to 60W of charging power to your device without needing an additional power supply.

on the product page, it should definitely support 15V/3A (sounds like up to 20V/3A)

Cool...thanks. It's actually a nice cable. Feels durable, not too stiff, and the connectors seem high quality. Not sure why they were $10, but since I just picked up my new 12.9' iPad, I figured having a couple extra charging cables at $10 was a good deal.

do you know if the apple’s thunderbolt usb c supports 15V/3A? I have apple’s 61 watt charger updated version which has 15V/3A profile.

Here are some quick 30 min charging tests after draining the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 until it shut off:

Apple 18w charger that was in the box: 20 % after 30 min charging

Apple 29w charger that came with the old MacBooks: 30 % after 30 min charging

Apple 61w charger new model A1947: 34 % after 30 min charging

(Airplane mode, no apps running, screen off)

The 18w charger is super nice but also super slow (39 % after 60 min; 57 % after 90 min charging).

My iPP 11“ was 47% After 60 min. and 70% after 90 min. charging with the 18W charger (Standby mode / no WLAN activity)?

Seems more acceptable for the 11" than for the 12.9". It's a great charger for iPhones, though.

But what about cables? I had the official charger and cable for my iPad 12.9 2nd gen. It definitely charged fast. Also worked on my iphones.

But now I need usb cable only... the one that comes with the iPad 11 inch, does it support fast charging if I use my old fast charging adapter? Also, it is only 3 feet long so I switched it with my MacBook Pro usb cable that is 6 feet long. Does that one support fast charging?

I tried to figure it out, but none of my devices do the two dings like some people said they would. Even when I tried my iPhone XS with the old usb to lightning cable that I know fast charges.

Please someone help, thank you!

Huh. Good to know. I’ve retired usb-a from my day to day travel. I just put them all around the house for convenience. I have an 18w, a 30w, and an 87w, and basically use all three interchangeably with my X, iPad 12.9 gen 3 and my 2017 MacBook Pro 15”. I’ll have to see if the 87 is actually slower with the the iPhone and iPad.

Both Apple USB-C to USB-C cables (3ft. and 6ft.) support Power Delivery. So they support fast charging. The 6ft. up to max. 100W and I think the 3ft. cable up to 60W.
