I am on iphone 11 main device. And ios27 beta 1 is lot better than stable 26 versions. Everything is improved and more stable. Battery life is amazing too. Just very few keyboard glitches (must be related to liquid glass transparency I guess) and some very minor ignorable glitches. Which are lot lesser than what I had on ios26.

Installed on my M4 IPP (which is my only one, so I guess it's my main one *smile).

It's really fluid, and works well. The interactivity with the Pencil Pro is surprisingly nice.

Staying on 18 with the 13 Mini until 27 is released, and matures.

Like some others here, I've been running the dev beta on my primary iPhone since it first dropped -- but this is a bit of an exception to my normal patterns. Usually I wait (ahem) patiently until the public beta drops before dipping my toes in the water.

Fortunately, this hasn't been a bad experience for me at all; I got the chance to experiment with the new Siri a little bit before I would have otherwise, and I have seen very little instability overall.

But yeah... the battery life has absolutely been affected... and the new battery icon does not impress me. (Still worth it.)
What made you switch this year?

I did the same. I’m usually cautious, but I couldn’t stand another second of iOS 26 glass or overall design.

I installed the public beta on my daily driver iPhone 11. I am amazed how well it runs, feels much smoother than iOS 26 and also the battery life improved dramatically! Awesome 😁
