anyone who ordered from B+H have theirs processed or shipped yet?

Did your card charged when you preorder? It should be lame your card to be charged and to wait 1-2 months your iPad to shipped out.

My card was charged the moment I preordered, but then it fell off. I didn't see any charges, so I went ahead and just cancelled my B&H order, and it cancelled it immediately. Then I placed an online order with Apple for in store pick up and got it that afternoon.

I did read that some got charged and posted to their account? I would be so mad if they charged me and waited 1-2 months to ship things to me. They should also charge your card the moment they ship it out.

Reason number 1 why I never order from B & H if I wanna buy a newly released product during the first week or two. They get their stock late even though you save on those taxes.

Ordered mine on 10/31 around 11 AM CST.

*CDT (at least it was until 11/4).

I really didn't want to wait and take the chance with B&H. Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

I may end up doing the same thing. It's not B&H's fault, but I probably screwed myself queue-wise because I initially ordered mine 10/31, but then canceled it & re-ordered 11/5 because I realized I wanted to change to a different credit card (because that card will extend the warranty by 1 year).

In my case the cards were pre-authorized when I submitted the orders. Important to point out this isn't the same as the charge posting; the charge shouldn't post until the merchant ships the item and closes the sale.

Thanks for the suggestion - I just checked, they had my configuration in stock and I just cancelled my order with BH and ordered from ABT.

[doublepost=1541970468][/doublepost]I ordered my iPad Pro 12.9” 256GB early on Oct 31 from B&H. Spoke to a representative today and she said that their first shipment arrives on the 16th, but it is a small amount and I was not likely to be part of that first batch.

She also said a large shipment of the Apple Pencil would arrive on the 19th.

I canceled my order from B&H and likely will never shop there again. I ended up ordering from Costco, which no longer had the iPad on back order.

Hope this helps everyone weigh their options.

Update / word to the wise: I went back & forth with a MacMall rep this week who was very helpful and quoted me a good deal. Turns out that even though their web site claims to have the new iPPs in stock, they are in reality two weeks backordered. My model was the MTXQ2LL/A (11" / 256GB / Wi-Fi only / Space Gray) but from what I gathered it's true for all the iPad Pros that MacMall shows as "In Stock" on the site. Sh**ty business practice IMO.
