I heard rates/plans were to be announced either Monday or Wednesday, along with some other possible information. What have you heard?

I heard Wednesday for the plans...and next Saturday is when Steve announces that it is officially time for Nagooya and the iPhone to "get a room".
Hmm...I'm really curious as to what the rates will be like. They are the determining factor in whether i get the iPhone or not. Ugh...the anticipation!
I bet if you wait till tomorrow you will find out if its going to be tomorrow or not.

That's fine...but just take it slow. I'm pretty sure no one at the Spectrum wants to see anything beyond tongue-on-dock-connector-port action in public...if it goes beyond that, there's likely to problems.

I have to go to Las Vegas that Friday morning...UGH! So Furgster and I have to get our iPhone's in Vegas, and iHope it's not going to be extremely crowded, apparently there is only one Apple Store in Vegas and its at some mall on the Strip! UGH!

Just don't skimp on the ceremony...get a little iVeil or iTux for your iPhone. I'm sure one of those cheesy chapels will let you take a couple of pics.
As for the honeymoon, I don't think anyone here really wants to see pics of anything past third base.
Don't worry about anything rated past PG-13, the 30 pin connector dock is too small for anything special to happen.
God, this better be good because they had 6+ months to do focus groups and sh*t... It better be a special plan too because what's the point in waiting til 3 days before it's released?
Hmm... So let's think this through. Had they (Apple) released pricing info for plans closer to the actual announcement, then it would have given us time to get used to higher plan prices and actual weed out the people who don't want to pay some astronomical plan price. But since they are about to release the iPhone w/ out telling us of plans, if they stick it to us w/ horrid plan prices, so many people will be turned off, even those who would have adjusted to the prices over time. </analysis>

The Fashion Show Mall opens at 9 or 930 to let old people walk around and the stores open at 10. I'll be down there that morning to get my macbook AC adapter replaced (its starting to come apart - thanks applecare!). I'll be waiting at the AT&T store near my house in the 100F degree heat. Fun fun fun. I should start a vegas thread...
And yea, I would expect something small Monday (perhaps more accessories information), pricing plans Wednesday, and something big on Friday to compel you to buy one.
Maybe you need a demo to convince you to buy one, but I dont.I think you are referring to the demo in the Apple and AT&T stores...
It might be something like iChat, it could be an announcement of iChat coming in the next month or two (need more time for testing), but who knows, I could be wrong.
Someone posted here that on Wed. or Thur. ATT will post on their website which stores will have the iphone.
