Which is the best note taking app? Ideally one that syncs across iOS and macOS.

I really like Moleskine, but there is a little lag and cannot view the virtual notebooks on my Mac.

Notes is fine (no lag), but I notice that the writing appears more jagged than Moleskine. Also, no page lines (or are there?).

You may want to look at ZoomNotes: universal iOS and OS X versions with iCloud sync, infinite canvas, super smooth ink, updated frequently by responsive dev, text, shapes, etc. It’s chock full of features. I have used it for taking notes, but primarily for delivering lectures. I project my iPad ZoomNotes page via HDMI as a digital whiteboard. Works marvelously.

Thank-you. Will take a look.
