what has been bothering me since the last few App Store „updates“ is that those cards dont even properly aline to the screen and the next one cuts half way off. Shows their lack of attention to details. I am sure this would have pissed steve the hell off lol
Haha I don’t think it looks the best. But I do think it’s a visual hint that more content can be accessed by swiping horizontally. Seems they did it that way because App Store interaction is becoming increasingly North-South, not East-West

I actually find it much harder to find apps. I like that they are highlighting apps, but I think they should have still kept around the original discover section that shows tons of interesting apps, not just a handful each day.

I hate that wishlist is gone. I used that when I would read or hear about an app that sounded interesting but wasn’t sure if I’d have a use for it or would wait for the app to go on sale.

As @Sharkoneau said, it's to show that there's more things to see if you swipe from the right, and I actually really hate when apps have more info to show and they only set one thing like you're showing

Take BitMoji for example, some of the customization is hidden behind perfect alignment, so it looks like it's all there when they have more options (just an example that recently annoyed me)

You’ve had to do that anyway since like iOS 9. When you have a universal app, it will only download the assets for your device. I forget the terminology.
