Hi,

relative recently moved to Australia. Signed up with Virgin Mobile. I tried to find the Virgin Mobile app on her phone in the App Store, but couldn't. I have the app on my iPhone 4, it's useful enough to check balances and so forth.

Searching for "virgin mobile australia" showed results for the Virgin apps for Mexico, Chile, and a bunch of other unrelated Virgin and other mobile apps. All up, about 40-something results. Entering exactly the same search on my iPhone shows over 500 results, and the first one is the app I want.

Why does iOS show different results on different phones?!

I sms'd her the link from my phone: opening it in App Store shows just a blank page. Stupid.

Searching in Safari finds the app, but again, opening the link in App Store gives blank page. Stupid again.

I tried changing her iPhone 4S's language to English: no change in results.

Any suggestions? How do I convince the stupid App Store to show all results?

Thanks. A.

Thanks CDM, I'll have a look at that article and check the ... Apple ID (?) settings.
