iOS 26 App Store updates are in a loop for me

Seems random. One app I just removed. eBay and Tesla are stuck

Stable iOS 26.5, coming back to Dev 26.6 for hopeful fix. Can't shake it

Hard reset, delete apps and reinstall, sign out and back in to Apple account, everything short of resetting iPhone entirely.. and a few apps perpetually report they need to be updated when checking for new updates - when they are already up to date

Anyone figure out a resolve on this?

Yeah seeing the same thing here, across multiple devices. Does not affect all apps, maybe 10% of them but eBay, ESPN Cricinfo, DoorDash won’t update. eBay hasn’t wanted to update for about 24hrs now.

Same issue with my iPhone and iPad. EBay and PC Financial apps are doing this update loop. I’ve also tried uninstalling the apps, logging out, and restarting but it hasn’t fixed the issue.

I'm suspicious that this is an internal App store problem, as I've verified the same behavior both on the current stable iOS and the dev beta iOS - so the new iOS 27 update later today may not touch the problem either. We'll see..

Another possibility… if the update bundle didn’t put the correct version in the files, it would always think it’s the wrong version and try to update.

Strange that recently a few apps are doing so the last few days, as I've never seen the behavior before

So you think the glitch is based on faulty app update submissions to the App Store?

Sounds similar to the problem I was having last week. Update was there, I'd click update, it would spin, then still say it needed to be updated.

My problem went away that same day but sounds very similar to yours.
