Why go on an Apple related site and bash Apple ?


MOST people like the Apple display's because of the size / look, and some even say the display quality is more crisp and bright.

Err, how's stating that another product is better than an Apple one Mac-bashing????


Get the Dell, it DESTROYS Apple's 23".

The "Apple screen being brighter and sharper" is a myth. Apple is known to use some of the industry's worst LCD screens. Their godawful laptop screens are a proof of that.

I second this.

At least Dell still takes the effort to put nice components into their (craptastic) products. Apple on the other hand tends to put crap into nice looking enclosures.

It is up to you, do you want a pretty face or do you want inner beauty. If you are pragmatic and tend towards the latter go for the Dull, otherwise get the Apple.

I'm pretty sure that, lile the PB, the aspect ratio of all apple widescreens is 3:2. regular 'tv' ratio is 4:3, and wide wide screen in 16:9. this may seem confusing, but look @ how close, by %, the numbers are to each other, and you'll get an idea.

BTW, many digital cameras, including the Canon DSLRs shoot in 3:2 aspect ratios.

The ratio of LCD monitors is 16:10 =1.6 (3:2 = 1.5). 1680x1050=1.6
I always thought PBs were 16:10...but apparently not.
