Apple Card: Credit Limit Increase

In the same situation as many of you. 9k limit for 800+ credit score and much higher limits on other cards. Strange..
With how volatile you’re getting with responses it’s obvious your credit is an extension of some other department you’re lacking in. These people are just listing possibilities but you shoot them down, are you just wanting to hear us praise how financially responsible you are?
So no go on the CLI .. they said because im not even using anywhere near the CL i have currently.
Interesting. Always wondered about this. It is their $ I guess so they can do with it what they will... however, like other posters here, I've got several CCs with more than 10k of a limit than my Apple Card.
Pretty happy with the instant rewards and ability to do everything from my phone quickly. Wife and I both have an Apple credit card and it is our primary card these days just for convenience.
Guess I won't be asking for an increase as I don't use more than 20% of my CL so far.
That seems annoying, and it sort of defeats the purpose. You don't want to go anywhere near your limit.
Yes usually if I get declined, a reason is because too much is being used. Don't think I ever saw a decline for not enough.
Let us know what you hear. It doesn't seem like anyone has been successful yet.
I was approved for CLI from $7500 -> $10,000. It was not a hard pull and took less than a week.
How long after you originally applied for the card did you ask for the increase?
I applied when it first came out in August and applied for CLI at the end of January. It was approved on Feb. 2.
So I got my denial letter on Feb 15th but it went to my junk mail folder. Turns out I was denied. But turnaround was pretty quick.
