So I signed up for an invite and got an early invite. One issue though the email that says I'm invited says the email I used doesn't match an Apple ID signed into iCloud. But that is intact the email and Apple ID singed into iCloud on my iPhone.

Any suggestions?

Same thing seems to have happened to a large group today, including me. Apple doesn't seem to want to acknowledge it as yet. But there have been many people in this and other forums mentioning it.

Yup, same here. And the "+" button on the wallet app is just letting me add an existing physical card, not apply for the Apple Card. So it's somethin' going on over at Apple.

I was on iOS 13 they said try on iOS 12.4 so I did. No effect. They tried a lot of stuff on iMessage support. No go so an Apple Card Specialist is calling me at 10:30 AM. Seems to be an iCloud issue its not iOS so hopefully it will work itself out after a bit.

Yep that's all I get. Tried iOS 13 and iOS 12.4. Did a reboot and signed in and out of iCloud as well. Did your invite email say the email you used isn't logged into an iCloud account as well?

My Email said:
You wanted to be one of the first to get Apple Card — a new kind of credit card created by Apple, not a bank. Good news: Here’s your chance to experience Apple Card before everybody else, so you can help us get ready for the public launch. Your early access invitation is waiting, but we need your Apple ID to send it. The email address you provided does not match an Apple ID signed in to iCloud. Just complete a few simple steps so we can send your invitation.

Talking to an Apple Card Specialist now. Telling me this is the first they have heard of this email going out and the invite not showing up. Find that hard to believe since I've seen tons of it. On going conversation ill update the outcome.

That is what I got on the phone last night too. Still curious if the wait time for anyone in this boat to be considerably less than 48 hours?

So they told me there was an issue with the system recognizing emails used as Apple ID's. It was a one time thing you need to reenter your email in Notify Me and wait up to 48 hours.

She told me make sure you go back and enter it in notify me again it has to go through the whole process again since the first time didn't work.

Have you tried to sign up using your iCloud designated email either ends with @me.com, @icloud.com and your existing email whatever email you used to signed up ends with @live.com, outlook.com or @gmail.com.

When I tap“Notify Me” on the website, I entered all my possible iCloud email used. You may give that a shot.

Just my @gmail.com. The other’s are just alternate emails given by Apple. When I was on the phone with Apple support he told me to put in my gmail.com again.

I received the same email to my @live.com but no email to Apple alternate emails but I was able to apply for the card. You can give that a shot as well using the alternative too since they are all linked anyways.

You have to reenter it and wait the 48 hours. You will get a new email. The first email went out last night so there is no way you have waited.

The emails says "Invitations may take up to 48 hours to arrive."

Just got my card via the Wallet app... the "follow up" email has not yet arrived.

I thought that the Apple Card appeared when you tapped the + at the top of the Wallet screen... but I had to tap CONTINUE at the bottom of the next screen to actually see the Apple Card invitation.

If you got the email saying your email was correct you need to re do it and then it may take up to 48 hours from the second attempt.
[doublepost=1565905938][/doublepost]UPDATE: As Apple told me yesterday if I didn't see the option or receive an email within 48 hours to email my support rep back. I did and she called me within the hour and took my SEID to send up to engineering to check things on the server side. So clearly if they are doing all this they expect I should see the option by now and that there is an issue with some invites.

Also just called AppleCare and asked to be connected to the Apple Pay team. The rep was very understanding; he took down my device info to escalate my invite issue to the Engineering team. He said he’d personally reach out by Tues next week. I encourage those with invite issues to do the same (took 10 min).

I suspect my issue is related to entering @icloud for my Apple ID, when I’m actually signed in @Mac. Despite entering @Mac over 48 hrs ago with the ‘notify me’ link, I’m not able to apply.
