Apple chargers = poor cable quality?

considering the design hasn't changed in like a decade, I won't expect anything.

It has changed the cables in the 2021 MBP now have a high quality braided cable.

Good thing Apple's new MBP come with a braided MagSafe 3 cable

the old cable is also braided; the original MBP cable from 2012 is better braided than the Chinese replacement cables from Aliexpress (yes I've installed around 10 of them already...)

That mentioned I did not even had a single power supply cable from regular notebooks since 2000 which broke like an Apple cable does. I hope they considered to improve the awful quality of those cables with the new Macbooks.
I've also got a Magsafe 2 cable here now ... it's also a disaster, I'll try to machine some alternative connector for it during the weekend
