Man, so this probably varied by CC but mine wouldn’t let me pick up the package because i had no ID matching my delivery address. This is because I don’t actually live there, I’m at a temp job position in dc (originally from fl) so I booked AirBnB place to stay for the period. Anyway they wouldn’t accept my AirBnB reservation as proof, insisted on a bill that has the address and my name on it. Managed to remember that when I ordered the iPhone I changed my Verizon billing address to this temp address so I can receive it. Showed them that bill as well as my passport and license and finally they let me pick it up. I was so upset for about 30 minutes worried I couldn’t get my phone lol. Heads up for anyone in my situation (if there are any)

I went through something similar with the first gen Apple Watch. I can empathize with your butthurt.

I think mine is on a different truck. Looks like it will be delivered shortly. Our regular delivered in my area are usually later in the afternoon.

Arg... mine left San Diego over two hours ago, and still hasn’t gotten to the Aliso CC. I’m having a hard time imagining how it could possibly be ready for pickup at 8am, but they’re the experts... fingers crossed. Has anyone in OC gotten to Aliso yet?
 
So after ups told me on the phone they wouldn’t hold my package... they did... they open at 8 witch is in 15 minuets. Will it realistically be ready right when they open?

Also I know the Apple store opens at 8 for people who wait in line for the phone... can I go in there and buy a case? Or will I have to wait until their normal hours

Were you at the Laurel CC? I was there this morning but they said they weren't there yet which was frustrating. I had to go catch a train into DC so I left. Ill pick it up on my way home today.

Yes.

I was last time I had them pull one to hold.
 
This is so frustrating lol. I am tracking the delivery driver and he has been in my neighborhood twice. So close to my house but then leaves and goes to a totally different area. I don't get it.

DC area here as well. Glad it worked out for you. Mine just turned to "Out for delivery".

Waiting until the end of the day sounds horrible!! Ugh!!

Better that waiting until the next batch though...lol.

Yes I was! I know. They said shuttle won’t come to drop off packages until 10:30AM but around 8:40AM they came in and everyone started getting their packages. Yours should be there now too.
 
The CC line hasn’t moved for 20 minutes so I’m going to the dentist and coming back

The same just happened to me it was just on the other end of my street and then went opposite direction may be doing by 10 deliveries first

They also work on the most efficient route for their whole set of deliveries. For instance, they will rarely make a left turn in an effort to save time overall even if that means doing what looks like a weird route.
