Just thought I’d share, after I got mine this morning, I tried the SIM swap and that did not work at all. For anyone else on AT&T this may be the hang up. The new SIM worked as soon as I popped it in, but alas that’s how they get the $25. Will call to see if I can have it waived.

I took the SIM out of my 7 Plus and put it into my X before powering it on to avoid the $25 upgrade fee. iTunes recognized it but my X kept saying no device. Once I put the original SIM card that came with the X back in, BARS.

Oh okay. I can't get passed the activation screen ARGH even though it is already activated.

I browse through this site quite a bit, but figured I would finally get an account and join in on the fun. I am in the 11/16-11/24 group. I just wanted to let people know who are in that group that my status just changed to "Preparing for Shipment".

Yes. I was initially in the 11/17-11/24 then got changed to 11/16 and just now my order was changed to preparing for shipment. Cannot track by reference still, but hey its some progress.

My baby is here. Congrats to all that received. And patience to those that wait. I got one more iPhone coming from AT&T from FedEx. But I can’t track it like ups my choice.

Yeah mine was bumped a day as well to 11/16. However 2 days ago I go a notification that said I needed to update my payment method so I panicked a little. However I called Apple today and everything was ok. Shortly after I got off the phone my status changed

Got my iPhone X finally. Had a little bit of AT&T activation troubles like everyone else. Kept trying for around 30 minutes and it finally activated. Now I’m updating to iOS 11.1 and will restore from my backup. This phone is definitely so much cooler in person. Good luck to everyone else who is either waiting for their phones or still trying to activate. It’s well worth it!

You don’t have to unpair. If you use your old device to start the process it takes care of everything. Never been easier to upgrade.

Oh i didn’t know that. My X during setup said that I could setup of my phone was nearby, which it was but it never picked it up, so I just continued doing it manually. Next time I know.

My Apple app preorder never budged from 11/17-11/24. So I lined up at 5:45 this morning and was able to get the model I preordered and I cancelled my preorder.
