Ah I just got the Rialto CA order as well. I decided to change it to my UPS store so I could possibly secure it there but it changed my delivery date to 9/25! Can I call and change it back? I just wanted to ensure someone would sign for it... or will it still ship 9/22 but to the store now?

So I relooked at our Apple order and since the service is in my wife’s name we created a myups for her and....BAM

I have a tracking number with a label created in Rialto, CA. UPS said since we have the last name and address on my license matches he shipping address I can pick it up first thing Friday morning. Just what I was hoping for

You can try, but it’s probably going to be 9/25 at this point.
 
Just checked UPS via tracking with reference and a label has been created for my 8+ 64GB! I ordered via Apple.com and am trading in my phone via the iPhone Upgrade Program. The hype is real for this Friday! So excited :)
 
I said it a few pages ago, normally when you change it to UPS Store, you loose one business day.
^ This. Because you’re effectively getting it rerouted, even though it’s going to a UPS center. They may be able to still cancel it though.

Not bashing but do you think 64GB will be enough for 8+? Unless you are offloading your photos, I think it my be a little difficult.

64GB on my 6s+ has been fine for two years. Haven’t had to offload anything. But I don’t record many videos either.
 
Odd they would push it back like that. I’d call as soon as you see movement on it and find out what’s going on

It's not really that odd. You requested that your phone be held for pick up... those kind of changes usually add an extra business day to the delivery... since 9/22 is a Friday, the next business day is Monday, 9/25. Calling them may or may not help. Good luck!

Exactly and UPS stores are typically not company owned locations. UPS customer centers are, so when you do a pick up at a customer center, they just hold it, instead of loading it for delivery. When you request a store pick up, it has to rerouted to the store.

Cool. I had 7+ 128GB which I sold and using my 64GB 6S+ as back up for last couple of days and I wasn't able to restore my back up since I had close to 112 GB stuff on it.

All the comments make sense... just wish they would tell you the ramifications of a change BEFORE you confirm. Now I can't change on app so call it is.

Please call them ASAP. I have routed UPS delivery many times for various reasons and it shows in the app the new delivery date for every location selected. You only keep the date of 9/22 if you choose to pick-up from a hub.

This doesn’t make since. I’ve called the past to have my phone be picked up at the warehouse and I’ve gotten every launch day. Never had to wait more days. Did he request to pick it off and somewhere else?

I just got tracking but since it's just at label created when I changed the location in app it didn't show the date of delivery for any of the locations. Maybe it's just an update from previous apps but it doesn't show any dates for me so he likely didn't see any either
