My X was rescheduled to the 15th and after last night it is back to the 13th for delivery and sitting an hour away in Memphis. Makes the wait even harder knowing it’s so close lol

Big fail today. I used istock now and didn't get any alerts or anything. I went to a nearby Apple Store and they said all preorders are already sold out for today! Neither istocknow NOR the Apple Store online showed inventory! So how the hell did it sell out?!?!?!?!??!

First I was frustrated bc my pre order night order showed order in progress for almost 2 weeks without movement. So I cancelled. Now I'm frustrated bc the sites don't accurately show inventory! This sucks.

They sold out because you checked too late. Reread my last two posts to you. Between 6am to 7am is the only window to get phones. Istocknow is a live feed. When they're sold out you'll see nothing. Gotta wait til Monday now.

Darn. Still no movement on my week of Dec 1 delivery. I thought it might move up a week by now since I ordered on the morning of Oct 27.

Got my case in the mail. Coincidentally, my iPhone 6S in its case fits perfectly into the X case.

Thanks for the tips. I had istocknow alerts on and I didn't get alerts for anything! I had browser + email alerts set.

No fret. I'll try again tomorrow at 6.

Not expecting mine to move from Shanghai until Sunday morning, but UPS tracking is now calling it “delayed.”

I wasn't paying attention last weekend, but do they restock on Sundays? or just Mon-Sat?

These extensive delays in China and Korea are unacceptable. Please let Apple know that these are occurring because they are in control of it. Had they shipped these orders with any sort of priority they would’ve been delivered already. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for pallets of iPhones to sit not moving for three or four days in either of these countries.

What if "awaiting departure clearance" doesn't mean that there's actual pallets of phones sitting in the warehouse. What if they've just allocated the next group of people to get phones and the only thing that's reliable is the final promised date from UPS listed for most of us. I don't actually think these phones are boxed up sitting on pallets in ZhenZhou.

Keep in mind the scalpers make a killing this time every year by knowing this reservation system at the Apple Store's. Apple only allows a purchase of two phones per client for full price cash… So every day they have to wait and purchase two for cash… they buy them on their credit card - sell them for 100 - 150 over retail and make a nice little killing each week. We have to be as wise as they are.

Get up early in the morning have your order already punched in to your browser ready to click on check availability and then check out. That's the secret, gang!

This would be plausible if there were not a decent amount of us also with our units sitting in South Korea for the past two days. I’ve never experienced this before on any other iPhone/iPad order. Where they’ve just sat in a location for multiple days at a time.

Still holding out hope mine will make it from South Korea > Alaska > Kentucky > NY by Monday as they’ve stated.

That also said - I pre-ordered late and had an original delivery date of Dec. 5 - 11. Which got bumped to Nov. 16 - 24. And ultimately, my expected delivery date of Nov. 13th. So, I guess we’ll see.

I'm where you are with delivery, and I ordered at 11 minutes after the moment pre-orders started. You seem to be bumped up quite a bit.

Yea, I don’t know how/why - I’m happy about it. So it’s not a real complaint here - just really curious what’s going on.

For whatever it’s worth, I pre-ordered at 3:58 am NY time (I fell back asleep after coming out to the couch to pre-order at 3) on the iPhone Upgrade Program w/ an iPhone X, Space Gray, 256gb, T-Mobile.

Usually only 2 Times a week. Wednesday and Saturday in the Philadelphia area. Never seen any new phones available in my corner of the country on Mondays Tuesdays Thursdays Fridays or Sundays
I got notifications and saw stock on 8th at 11pm est. you (I set up the notifications that afternoon), 9th at 6am and 11pm, 10th at 11pm a few, today at 6 am a lot but all silver. Nyc metro

Similar, I ordered very late(ie 6 am EST on the 27th) and was originally going to deliver 12/11-12/18, but my order was moved up to the 11/16-24 group, and shipped on 11/6. It was scheduled initially for delivery on Friday, November 10th, but with no movement, was changed to 11/14. HOWEVER, it left Korea on the 9th, and was still delivered on the 10th. That would be yesterday. So the word to the wise is that UPS Tracking system is notoriously faulty when it comes to expected delivery dates, and your phone is often moving, or going through Customs(ever come into JFK at rush hour, yea that;s our phones), I have seen this on a lot of custom macbook orders shipping from China. So this is not a big surprise, so my word to the wary, is that the item is being shipped UPS Worldwide Expedited, which is 4-5 business days, and they very rarely miss a commitment because they then have to compensate the shipper for that missed connection time, so no matter how frustrating it may be to see no movement, patience is good, and you shall be rewarded

Understood. Like I said - more curious than anything else. I'm sure UPS doesn't want to pay that level of compensation on late deliveries. I'm staying optimistic.

I was able to get a 256X in launch day by after seeing it the wife wanted one. My carriers was 3-4 weeks out as was apple and Luckily the apple store had a space grey in stock this morning. 15 min drive to the apple store and it was mine. I almost felt bad as a lady walked in about 5 min after I did asking for the same phone but I got the last
