I’m so torn I think I want the 12 pro but I hope I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the minor camera differences for the max. I’m definitely digging the blue also.

Same situation. Sensor shift will be kept for future pipeline models too and with 12 pro, it will simply be left out of game.

Wait sensor shift is max only? Dang I need to watch back through the presentation. I thought there was only the change in the telephoto.

Yup, that’s what I understood. Kuo predicted in March 2020 anticipating sensor shift stabilisation will be included for iPh12. Seems like it is only for Max as I understood.

I really hate big phone. It is too bling for a guy.

That definitely makes my decision a little bit harder.

You may have already know how it works. As I just catch up with some reading, understood it will be mostly useful for lowlight long exposure shoots where one may require tripod without it.

Now I need to decide on whether to go for the size or to aim for low light shoots.

Yeah, mine too. I'd have to understand what difference it makes, IRL. (edit: lowlight photography as explained above).
I guess the form factor is more important to me. It'll be for my next phone!

The app is showing that preapprovals are open but it’s not letting me select either phone

That's the one I want.
Me too. They seemed to focus a lot more on the new blue color and the “new” gold color rather than the silver or graphite in the Pro series. Going for the Gold! Case-Mate has a new awesome Ombré case that is clear at the top graduating to gold twinkle at the bottom. Already ordered that one.

One consideration is that blue will be most popular since it’s new. Maybe I will get my Gold iPhone 12 Pro Max sooner if blue is selling out?
But blue looks so beautiful and I feel like gold Will get old.

5 am? What the heck? That’s annoying
Better than 2AM

Are the blue colors of the Mini, the 12, the 12 Pro and Pro Max all the same shade of blue?
No. The Blue is "Pacific Blue" on the pro models. It is more of a Navy Blue on the non-pro models. I am getting the Pro, but actually like the Blue better on the non-pro.

So it looks like they are only doing the IUP pre approvals for the 10/16 preorders. It lets you go to the pre approval page but when you pick the Pro Max it doesn’t let you continue. Guess I’ll have to wait...

Pre approved for iUP for 12 Pro 256 silver. I don't want the largest size. Sucks that 12 Pro doesn't have the same cameras as Max, but still worth the extra $ over the normal 12 for me, if only for the stainless frame alone. I notice a HUGE difference between durability of the SS models I've owned (4/4S/X/XS Max/11 Pro) over the aluminum models I've owned.
