The best part is, I know they obviously have routing and logistics down to a science but man, going off the “follow my delivery,” it looks so haphazard lol he’s literally gone around my house like four times.
Received my iPhone 12 at 11 am (EST).
Both at the same time. haha
Wow, in my 7 years of picking up at the CC, I've never seen that many people, and that includes the 6 Plus and X launches.
Walks to back of truck... not where it should be....oops left it at the hub Monday it is then.
Just reboot it and will probably be activated in a min or so. I've seen them get "stuck" activation on ATT.
I heard in an earlier post it was a hiring event not package related.
Wow that may customers picking up a phone? Interesting. I went to my UPS CC during lunch break and there was literally no one but me picking up a package. The guy was like this must some something new from apple. lol
Aaaaaand we're in! Restored from iCloud (big backup, definitely still doing stuff in the background, hah). Had to call T-Mobile to get the new R15 SIM activated on my account and the old one deactivated. Took just a few minutes, super easy, and we're off! This is so wild and new compared to my iPhone 7 Plus, already really enjoying the experience. Can't wait to test out the cameras! Halide Mk II just rolled out and oh man am I excited to give it a whirl.
edit: also the sides are so shiny, I seriously love it
edit 2: this is also my first time really using an OLED. never really seen an OLED in person, super excited to try out some good video and see how awesome dark mode is at night! I was using my 7 Plus in bed a few days ago and man, the blacks just aren't that black. going to be cool to be holding a device that makes text look like it's floating in a dark room

I'm right here with you. UPS picks up from my job at 4pm, and they always empty the truck before picking up. I'm 95% sure the tracking is inaccurate at this point. I just hope they can make Monday happen.

I was the only person at the CC in Salt Lake City this morning at 8! So far I’ve set my iPhone up from scratch and working on the iPad! Will be awhile before both are completely configured to perfection but I’m loving both so far!
It’s like that every year, but there’s no guarantee that your choice will be available right after Launch Day.
No, I just saw a lot of packages being put into the front of the truck. Looking at the dash. I could even hear stuff being thrown around in the truck but he never got out. Eventually just put his seatbelt back on and drove off. Hopefully he finds it at the end of the day and still decides to drop it off.
My store looked like this. No displays other than a few cases/accessories for impulse purchase.
