You can buy AppleCare with an Apple Store gift card. There are some restrictions as to when you can buy AppleCare. Must be purchased within 60 days. You CAN’T use an iTunes GC.

You can buy AC+ anytime in the first year now, like the old days

Apple will now give customers an entire year to buy extended warranty for products

AppleCare+ probably isn’t a priority for some people during an economic downturn.

Yep but I think its still 60 for doing it yourself. Past 60 you have to go to an Apple Store for them to inspect the phone.

If you have UPS MyChoice (free!) you get a link when the truck is out for delivery to see it on a map. Fair warning, being real close to your house probably means it will be a few more hours.

There are quite a few complaints about the screen warmth/yellow tint. I'm crossing my fingers.... Happened to me before.

First time in weeks, but UPS were here at 11am today. Amazing. Love the new design of the phone. Not amazing different on 5g and LTE on T-Mobile though. It's incredible that the screen is bigger than the 11 Pro but the phone is the same size. The $12 Spigen case I picked up fits great. Was able to manually apply the t-mobile promotion (as it wasn't available in the first few minutes of pre-order).

If it arrives early anywhere from the 27-29th I'll be okay. OR if it arrives after 11/2/20. It just burns me up that if I hadn't pre-ordered I could have ordered/picked up my phone today! But there was no way of knowing that, obviously. SIGH.

You can request a certain delivery date from UPS my Choice.

Yes you can. Just ask for a new SIM you don't have to ask for that specifically it's just the new default SIM. It enables standalone 5G if available in your area and I heard has a little more memory that helps with 5G speeds a bit.

It's arrived! Very nice to hold and definitely faster than the XS Max it's replacing. I don't mind the smaller screen. It isn't noticeably smaller while using it but feels a lot better in the hand.
