Yes! But, iPhone 12 Pro model is still a beast. It's a really good phone. Probably one of the best Apple came out with. PRO MAX and Mini will be even better.
I honestly haven’t experienced this on my 12 Pro. The first day was bad but sat-sun were at least as good as my 11 Pro. I feel like it was better. My 11 Pro was at 89% health.
I did primarily because I was so bored of the stale design. The 12 Pro feels new and futuristic despite the same notch. I thought I would hate the increased size and heft but I’ve come to appreciate it. Cameras are not notably better day to day but autofocus is lightning fast thanks to LIDAR. Feels very different in hand compared to the rounded phones we had for 6 years.

Maybe it's all the indexing that's been happening on my phone. I have over 25,000 pictures and 2,000 videos via iCloud lol. It's still not finished.
I did and I like the size. More manageable but not to noticeably smaller.
Legit every time I see it on video I love it but then I’ve seen it 5 times today and it’s SO underwhelming and looks silver more than gold.
I’ve seen 5 today at 2 AT&T’s 1 Best Buy 1 Verizon and 1 T-Mobile. Literally only in T-Mobile’s yellow ass light does it even look gold. At Best Buy the SS looks pale gold and the back looked silver with a HINT of gold if it hits the light right.
At AT&T it looks silver with semi-gold SS border and at Verizon I literally had to search for a sticker to tell me if it was a S or G because the SS border looked like some mutant mixture of gold and regular SS. I’ve seen it. It’s underwhelming and looks silver.
Now pacific blue? It looks stunning and actually like a blue.
If you use iCloud backup to sync your new iPhone, do the photos in iCloud automatically begin to load onto your new iPhone also?

This is my upgrade path. Instead of going up slightly in size for the 12 Pro Max, I "downsized" a bit for 12 Pro (when it ever arrives...).

I hate the fact the new pro battery dies so dang fast ugh!
The battery is terrible coming from an 11 Pro Max. Consistently down to 53-54% by noon, even in low power mode.

Disagreeing about the Gold as well. I was in 2 Best Buys and 4 Verizon stores. The Gold doesn’t look like Silver at all. I have a Silver 11 Pro Max now. The frosted glass makes the back look like a soft champagne - in certain light, it will probably look a flat, pale vanilla latte cream, but not white at all. The gold SS band is definitely not a bling, 24K yellow gold like Apple showed on the promos. If that is what a person wants in their Gold, they will be disappointed. The SS gold band is a softer gold that shines, but in no way looks like Silver at all. It looks classy and premium like looking at delicate 14K jewelry. It’s a lot prettier in person than I thought it would be.
What I will add is that everyone here has different tastes which Apple has recognized in adding so many colors and finishes in recent years. So no one here is wrong. We just all know what we personally prefer and therefore want and advocate for - I’m side-eyeing anyone who speaks negatively about Pacific Blue 😂
In the end, it’s best if anyone still in doubt gets to see them in-person if they at all can to form their own opinion. Lucky for us Pro Max/Mini buyers this year that we have the option to do so.
I made this switch and not regretting it at all. Love the size, the feel, and the weight difference on the 12 Pro compared to the 11 Pro Max. So far battery life with dual sim enabled is fine. Think the 6.1" size is perfect, at least to me...
Well, my phone shipped 2 days ago.....still stuck in China "Awaiting Gov't Approval"...sigh. Still says from yesterday "WE've submitted documentation to a Gov't agency and are awaiting approval". My Apple watch 6 just took ONE day to be delivered. Supposed to be here tomorrow...we'll see. It is amazing how fast Apple stuff ships from the other side of the world...usually.
Mine too. Says “In transit and being forwarded to aUPS facility in the destination city.” I really don’t think it will be here tomorrow.
UGHHH I hate Apple for using FedEx. Instead of being out on a truck it states "Package not due for delivery" FedEx has no incentive to deliver it early. and the scheduled delivery is Wednesday.
Apple is so freakin greedy this year. Being cheap out on shipping, removing items from the box, increasing Apple care costs, increasing costs in other countries beyond the exchange rate.

I did, size is ok, but I miss the bigger screen, will most likely go to 12 Pro Max
I’m still hoping for Wednesday but doubting that will happen.
