I also got the Case-Mate case that is clear with different sizes of clear gemstones embedded in the case. It is a cluster of jewels at the top going down to totally clear at the bottom. The Gold Ombré is going to look so good with our gold iphones also! Can’t wait until Friday! Not sure which case to begin with!That's the exact case I got lol omg we have the same taste
I also got a random $261.45 charge last night from Apple Canada. Not sure what for as they took full charge Friday morning. Will be contacting them to find out.
Back in 2010 there were a lot of iPhone 4 deliveries prior to 'launch day'. After that happened, Jobs threw a hissy fit at UPS and said that it would never happen again. I got mine a day early that year, as well... there are always stories of one or two getting through the net early, but for the most part, Jobs was right, and it has not happened again - at least not large scale... that is the reason for the "delivery exception" on all iPhone (and other "release day") devices.
Wow, that’s sounds messed up. A lot of people that only had enough in account for phone are going to be pissed!
How did you pay for the phone? If you are using the Apple installment plan (Apple Card and/or IUP), I believe that you are charged sales tax/use tax/VAT up front. I had a charge of $128 and change hit my Apple Card yesterday - the sales tax on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
If you are a UPS choice member, you can get it delivered to where you will be. If you aren’t a member, they will charge you.
Apple ships most of their stuff FedEx... but the iPhones on launch day have always come UPS in the US...
So, HomePod should come FedEx and iPhone will come UPS.
Same, or I usually go with 256GN, but I love the shade of Pacific Blue so much I went big.

256GB is perfect for me. I don’t download as many things with so much in the cloud. Only time I download a lot is when we go to Europe twice a year for use on the planes. Not doing that right now though. 😉

Ordered from Apple Canada, I figured things out now. It seems they have overcharged me $244.02 CDN. I went over the math of total cost plus initial charge plus new charge. I will have to contact them to figure it out.
Not much difference in size between 11pro max to 12 max. I got my Pitaka case last week and it’s almost the same size. Slightly slightly taller
