One more question from the newbie: Why are you all tracking flights that are not UPS? Did UPS use Cargolux for the 12/12 Pro?

I got UPS up on Flightaware and it looks like the UPS flight path from Zhengzhou -> Icheon -> Anchorage -> Louisville.

Would this be the UPS flight leaving in 2 1/2 hours?

I was going to do a similar question. UPS has their own flights.

No but they did use Air China Cargo.

Try adding your work address on UPS My Choice and see if that pops up.
 
flight numbers on same plane change and may be not show on flightaware, must deduce logical. example leave china cargolux flight number, same plane leave anchorage ups number...kaa

And our 12 went from CGO to ANC, sat there for 3 hours, much longer than the time to refuel, then went to SDF. UPS flights didn't match up, and it looked like the Air China Cargo went on to ORD. So I think they offloaded many/most of the ULDs, and put them on a 747 to SDF.

I don’t see anything UPS that doesn’t fly back and forth between Zhengzhou and Icheon. The only other flight is the Cargolux flight that will get into Alaska at 9PM AKST or 12AM CST. Unless there won’t be movement until tomorrow. Interesting, definitely different.

I need to get my tracking number still either way.

Has anyone been able to have a package held at the UPS CC? The only options I have are a UPS store of CVS Pharmacy.

Contact UPS by phone or DM or Twitter, you can request it that way. I think with the new update UPS website did few weeks ago, they removed the UPS CC option. But some were able to phone in and able to request that way. Or wait till it gets to KY, maybe the option will pop up then?

For me I had the UPS CC option since the labels created for the 12 Pro and was able to request it on the spot while the phone was still in China. Doesn't make any different if you did it then or wait til it goes to KY. What matters is that once it reaches your destination scan then they will see that and then will hold it for you to pick it up.

I think this should be our flight. mine is sitting at "Arrived at Facility"

According to FlightRadar, UPS doesn't actually even have routes starting in ZhengZhou. Their main chinese hub is Shenzen.

Hopefully, I’ll make it, but I don’t have any shipping details yet. I checked by reference on UPS MyChoice already. I’ll have fun tracking the next flight I guess, lol

That's probably the problem. MyUPS uses your address as the primary match but if you have it shipped elsewhere then it won't track for you unless you go through the process of having that address verified as yours. In the past you could look by reference number but they're masking most of the tracking number there so you can't grab it.
