Ok I was able to call a UPS Customer Center in Yorktown Heights, but they said no changes can be made to the delivery address without contacting the sender first. Going to try to calling Apple but I'm not optimistic.

No option to have your signature in advance or leaving a note.

What you can do is thru the UPS My Choice app, place alternate delivery instructions (neighbor, UPS customer counter, UPS Access Point, UPS Store, etc...)
I have a permanent note on My Choice for UPS to leave my packages near a different door (not on front porch) at my house. About 20% of the time they follow those instructions. SMH

Us guys on the UK preorder thread are finding this thread really entertaining as you watch your phones travel around the world. Although we are comforted by the fact that our phones have been nestling comfortably in a UK warehouse in Leicestershire for some days now, we are rooting for you guys that your phones arrive safely in the US and you all receive your phones on Friday. We wish you well from across the pond 👍

Yayy!!🥰my mini 🥰

Really having a hard time finding the number for my local hub, and I don't even know which one to call. Can I call any nearby one?
Do you have a recent UPS delivery that shows the location prior to your house?

edit: Saw your post above. Good luck with Apple.

I do, Elmsford, NY and I've been trying to find that one. I found Yorktown Heights and they said they can't change it because it could be a liability.

I might just wait out the extra 3 days anyway.
Or you could luck out and possibly get it on the 13th

Never been so ready for a new phone. I’m usually having to wait on an Otterbox Defender to be released but this one has been sitting, waiting for a few weeks now and my screen protector just arrived on UPS. Come on Friday!
I bought this same case! What iPhone color did you order? I'm curious about your color combination. I ordered the Silver One...

I hope so. I would imagine it wouldn't take 3 extra days to send it to a store that's half a mile from my house. I guess there can be complications from sorting it or whatever but hopefully I'm lucky.
They have to reroute the package to the store, and that process usually adds a day (it might not, but it often does). Since it’s Friday, it’s unlikely that they’d deliver it to the store before Monday. That’s been my experience. YMMV

Thank you for your diplomatic mission from across the pond. Cheers to you and the gang! :)

Yea generally when you request a pick up other than UPS CC, it still has to go on the truck as if it was to go your house. But it depends on what time of day they stop at the UPS Store. I think this is why they typically add a business day because there are times when your package could get dropped off after the UPS Store is closed.
