Two years ago mine was delayed a day because of a typhoon, last year they missed the cutoff for customs and it missed the last plane out and I got it late Saturday. Every year before that though it’s been right on time🤷🏼‍♂️

I just tried out the Anker Nano! It’s great, and cheaper and as big as the 5 watt. Watched testing on it and it seems to push more wattage out for longer over the Apple one. 0F11D4F8-7D95-4E36-929B-A07ADCC086F0.jpeg

Being someone who has never owned an iPhone and never ordered launch day anything, I thought the tracking was totally weird at first. But then I realized it's just the community coming together and having fun. Now I'm totally swept up in it also and have loved watching my phone travel the world to my doorstep. If that's not your thing, fine. But raining on other people's parade does nothing.

Also now I really want Thai food. Tom kha gai, pad see ew, Thai tea, and sticky mango rice please. 🙏

Germany checkin in. Love this thread and the Country. Pre covid I traveled to the states every year to watch football. Like the rest of the european gang I can relax because our phones are already in czech although I chose in store pickup this year.

why are your phones coming directly from China and ours sitting in czech/uk for a week or two?

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by. It’s very nice to see you here and join us. We are all waiting and tracking our phones like crazy.

US usually gets the shipment from the factory. I think it has to do with the tax and cost purposes. It’s going to cost Apple too much to hold a mega million dollars inventory of iPhones in US.

So this was tested with MagSafe. And I think that’s the charger that kept pushing more wattage over the Apple adapter. Let me try and find the video. It tested like 4/5 different adapters with MagSafe.
