If I’m scheduled to get mine on Friday, but it still says “preparing to ship” now, should I be worried?

Wow. That’s way worse than when I had a one day window to get my phone before a 4 day weekend trip. I’m praying for you. That’s insanely stressful and I’m sending all the good vibes your way that you get your phone on time.

I dont think they offer it on regular ground shipping. I only get the option if it’s next day overnight or 2nd day air.
Glad to see all of us reaching to the next step, it’s going to be a big day tomorrow with all of us departing out of Louisville!

Really, I was going to say I get it on all my Amazon packages but i guess that is 2 day ship. Hmmm I don’t think I have ever noticed that..
Yeah, I love Amazon’s delivery. You can always follow the delivery. I like when it lets you know you are the next stop, or if they just leave the package, they take a picture. If they mis-deliver, you can say “ I don’t know who’s porch that is, but it’s not mine!” ?

Ok, I hope this is not a bad omen. My order changed from Preparing to Ship to Order in Progress. It also came up right away without having to go into the check order status section. I hope this means it’s leaving very soon!

I just got my AppleCare confirmation via email despite no movement on my tracking.
Have no concerns. Apple only updates to shipped only after custom clearance and scans in Louisville
It's an absolutely gorgeous machine. Makes those straight lines in the desert a little more entertaining, but definitely more for the curves. Guilty guilty fun!
Well lately Amazon has been offloading my packages to USPS or UPS. I haven’t actually had them deliver to me for a while. I wonder why that changed all of a sudden.
So close! This has been an exciting week what with getting my ps5 tomorrow and my Granite PM 512 on Friday. Played around with a 12 Pro display model in Best Buy yesterday to get a feel for the new finish and was in love. Just wish Skinit would hurry up and deliver my custom phone cases...
Relax... mine is showing the same, but my phone is already shipped... Been tracking it since last Saturday... so, don’t worry. That means that in the next hours we'll see the scan in USA and the tracking email.
Mine is the same. When I click on it, I get an “orders are not available at this time” screen. I’m assuming Apple is updating things. Big Sur is dropping November 12th. That may be affecting system availability.
Edit - everything appears normal now. Back to “preparing to ship”
I think they’re getting ready to leave KY very, very soon! It left Anchorage on the 10th. The excitement is getting real now! ?
