Phone #2 made it to the city this morning. Expecting UPS around 4, so I’m going to work on my research paper.

Your not the only one. I do this too. I order one for delivery, and I also place another order for in-store pick up.

I'm in the beta and seed program and installed it on the 11th without issues - I guess I got lucky to get the GM before everyone else....I have to say it makes everything look better - almost as if I have all new monitors

It seems like the first release of a new MacOS is buggy and brings a lot of complaint, so I’m going to wait and see what others have to say this time. I have a number of Zoom calls and virtual events coming up so now isn’t the time for me to roll the dice.

Thanks for the recommendation - always look for good action thrillers....need something to hold me over after watching the new episode of The Mandalorian while I'm waiting for the new season of The Crown to drop on Sunday

I‘m holding off on this season of The Mandalorian until enough episodes are released, maybe all, if I can hold out. I didn‘t watch Season 1 until all episodes were released and I was so happy I did it that way.

As for The Crown, THANK YOU for letting me know! I’ve been waiting for it to drop!

I could a couple of years ago; I’m hoping we can do it again this year! Though it was incredibly maddening watching the truck literally drive past our street at least 6 times for other deliveries before finally turning onto it.

I don’t see a way to do it in the app.

It's hit or miss, not all trucks have it. If yours does, it will pop up automatically with a big follow my delivery button.

Even if it's out for delivery, I would think you can do a "Will Call" (I'm sure they still offer this), and this way you can pick it up at the UPS CC by the end of the day.

Normally what happens is when it's at the destination scan, they will see that you requested a hold for pick up, then they will place it on the shelf, if they don't see it then they will be loaded to your truck.

As predicted last night mine passed Urbana and Champaign to spend some time at regional hub in Decatur Illinois but it came back at 4 AM to the Urbana UPS and was loaded on truck an hour later. Trucks do not usually leave til 9 Am but I wonder with enough phones if they will be leaving earlier we shall see. As with many I see the customs release came after it was loaded on truck/local hub for everyone. Used to see that at Louisville after import scan and before departure a bit different this year wonder why?

I got it for the Cameras. Who I am kidding I do every year just cause..?

The camera upgrades also.

XS Max has been good, still is. The trade in value is still decent though, enough to do the upgrade.

It is a shame we can’t track the UPS vehicle like we can with Amazon.

Side note - The vehicle tracking is delayed, how do i know this? LOL. I've chased my guy around the neighborhood using it before. ?

I didn’t get any email from UPS, even though I have email options check for day before delivery and day of delivery etc.
