Also, just to let you know my experience, the UPS lady knocked on the door and she waited for me to come to the door. Once I opened the door, she said she needed my last name to release the phone to me. I did not have to sign anything. Wanted to convey my experience to you all. I guess it depends on the driver and location maybe?
My sister happened to be outside as the UPS driver came to our door (because I was stalking the delivery map) and our driver asked us the same. So maybe last name suffices instead of signatures this year due to COVID?

Wait... did you get your phone? Are you the person leaving the country at 5 p.m.

Thank you @StaceyMJ86 you have been a kick ass person to converse with on here. I hope you love your new baby! Thanks for all of the USPS insights. I hope to still see you around these parts.

P.S. I watched Heredity in theaters and that movie WAS NOT what I was expecting. The scene with the telephone pole... holy heck! Good movie though. I'm a sucker for scary/horror movies.

I remembered it was @SirLagalot that was leaving the country. Good luck to you, sir! Let us know if you get yours.

Likewise and I love it! I will still stick around. What can I say? I love MacRumors.

I read they do businesses first, then residential?
No rhyme or reason as far as I can tell. My guy was 4 streets over in the neighborhood and then jumped over to the businesses and has been doing that for a couple of hours. Now it says "In Your Area" but he's farther away than he was this morning lol

I was the first one to pickup at CC in Lubbock, never any lines or anything. I’ve been first there for the last 3 years
The most that I’ve ever seen at the CC on iphone day we’re about 10 people waiting for the doors to open for the 6 Plus and the X. It’s always been a quick pickup except for the X, because the rep was having some difficulty finding the packages (she had to scour the warehouse that time).

The telephone pole was a shocker. I was seriously creeped out when Annie was chasing Peter through the house.

Another slow burn creep fest by the same director is Midsommar

I thought I was crazy when I saw her up in the ceiling in the corner. It had me spooked which is probably why I didn’t fall asleep and still haven’t at 1:07pm.

Im
great pictures! That blue is amazing, and blue is my favorite color. So of course I ordered graphite, guess I couldn’t live with having a gorgeous blue and never see it through the case (ok except the camera opening.. maybe I should have) lol. Congrats!
Thank you! I go caseless 98% of the time. I just love how the iphone looks and feels naked. ?

Picked up my new iPhone from my local Apple store. First time ever doing so. Excellent experience. The took my 8 Plus as a trade-in on the spot. Didn't even inspect it LOL. Purchased SIM-free. They gave me a 5G AT&T and I just called them when I got home to activate it. A super simple and seamless experience. I will absolutely purchase and pickup all future iPhones from my local Apple store. Much preferred over waiting on a package in my experience. (Even better than visiting a FedEx/UPS center as my local Apple store is super close to my house.)

Wishing everyone luck with their order. The 12 PM is awesome! :D

That looks fantastic. I typically pick my up at the mall and walk straight over to the kiosk that puts on the screen protectors. I've not actually touched the screen on my last 2 phones. Weird. This year, I'll be peeling off the film and putting it on myself. A third phone that will never have it's screen touched. It's kind of sad. But I'm a total klutz, so I'm not going without.
Thank you! Yeah, if you gotta have a screen protector, it’s best to put it on right outta the box to minimize dust.
