It would be cutting it extremely close. With 30 mins to an hour in AK then to unload and import in Louisville and reload to planes going to other hubs its very unlikely it was cut that close

They unload and load a 747 at the hub in 45 minutes. It’s close but should be just fine.

That’s what I’m thinking I was last getting into the USA last year I live roughly 2 hours form the hub.
And the late scan could have been caused by them being loaded onto the plane that was already loaded. Maybe it was a mistake and it just didn't get put in right

Customs might be swamped with checking for other imported goods on the flight that are subject to the new trade war tariffs.

Customs check is just a scan of the pallet. Everything is electronic and not actually “inspected” because Apple is a trusted shipper.

No, who’s to say someone smuggled something inside of the box, maybe one pallet is randomly inspected but there’s no way because “they’re Apple” they don’t get inspected..

Same thing happened to mine last year. It was in Phoenix on time and at the CC first thing in the morning.
wow okay, im gonna hang on to hope lmao. its just a phone but like i like having it the first day and i got up at 3am for this purpose so its a little annoying.

Has anybody who ordered late (> 16th) seen their shipping status change? I pre-ordered at my carrier, but canceled yesterday because I thought ordering straight from Apple might be faster. I have an expected date of 09/27 - 10/04 and now I'm not sure if I should get my hopes up when I see phones with similar dates get shipped.

Scanned departure out of SDF. More than likely it will sit in the container for the early morning flight out.

rysmtihaz is right: it happens all the time. Also, they don't have to stop in Alaska. I've had shipments come straight from China to Dallas and be on the truck as promised for delivery. They can make the seemingly impossible happen. Keep the dream alive!
