So // I was waiting until tonight to change mine to Hold for Pickup, even though it said my iPhone hadn't even left China yet.. so I doubted it was going to make it.

All of a sudden once I changed it to Hold for Pickup, it says available for pickup September 20th. I'm guessing they didn't want local places scanning them until tomorrow so to prevent looting/etc.

I know this isn't just how the Hold for Pickup works, because when I held my Apple Watch (which recently left Louisville) it says Available for Pickup September 21st.

HAHA -- within 5 minutes of changing it, it spews more info about customs I'm assuming this means its in USA now.

I'm thinking the entire UPS system is screwed up, overloaded. All week I've seen status go from China to Alaska to Louisville......THEN back to Alaska. Or stalled - which leads to failing updating on the Apple site as well. I dont recall this type of chaos on the tracking system before.

Twitter for UPS is going crazy.

Mine’s already left Columbus, OH on the way to the local UPS. Given the time it left it must already be in the local area.

I was on the flight that left AK sometime around 8:00 this morning. I can’t give the exact time because the departure from AK fell off my status, but it’s been replaced with an import scan in Louisville at 10:52 PM. I see two flights from Louisville to Denver overnight, so I assume I’ll be on one of those.

Mine is still showing 9/21, but it’s been stuck at “Departure Scan: Anchorage” for about 12 hours.

Mine was ‘stuck’ there for more than a day. Then it suddenly jumped to Louisville and then Columbus, from which it goes by truck to my local UPS facility. It should already be there since the trip doesn’t take very long. Then onto a truck for delivery.

Looks like 3 planes from Louisville to Philly.
