I'm not so sure it went on a flight at all. I seem to recall they typically depart to Anchorage from an airport such as Shanghai...not directly from the initial location.

Could be but I know UPS is a key customer for Atlas Air, UPS dry leases a majority of the 747's Altas Air owns.

There really is no more support profile. It's been replaced by getsupport.apple.com. I think only devices you've signed into with your apple id show there. I loved support profile, too bad they got rid of it.

Funny enough, Atlas is the 3rd largest US air shipping/cargo carrier. UPS and FedEx both are customers and it may be that UPS is using them to augment their own routes, maybe due to the typhoon. Who knows though, it could be unrelated.

If I can ask, are you in the States or Europe? Seems like many of the US customers got tracking info, while the European ones are still waiting. Please do correct me if I'm wrong!

Premium comes in handy, I use it to select a time frame, I want UPS here or else they usually deliver about 7pm for me anyway. Helps me out in getting my phone earlier in the day. Just trying to help people out, so your not stuck waiting all day.

I don't see the 4 hour window delivery on the UPS site, whereby I can change to a 2 hour window. The phone says by end of day delivery.

Not sure. I've read rumors (I work for an airline) that UPS was in talks to buy Atlas at one point, but didn't know if they would put cargo on them. Figured it'd be a UPS plane, but I'm not in the shipping biz.

UPS does lease space on Atlas air... would not be surprising in the least if they leased extra space for a surge in shipments!

I'm starting to believe my iPhone must be shipping from Hong Kong instead of Guangzhou hence why I can't find any scanning, the airport is closed due to the typhoon... Hopefully not but I'm having this feeling.

It is still very early. You may not see movement until tomorrow or even Tuesday.

Same here. 256 gb gold Xs, was charged (still pending) for tax but not the first installment. No UPS info either.

Was it the iPhone 7 where a lot of our phones went to Korea then back to China and kind of held there for a long time making us nervous? Seems like there were a lot of confusing back and forth scans. Most of us got our phones as promised, though.
