Yeah, I was thinking the same thing myself. So far I like the change!

Just finished taking a comprehensive browse through the site and it all looks very good! Changing things up every once and a while is a good thing, especially when you end up with results like this. Nice one Apple. :)

bah, open .mac mail. there you have the new grey look on top and the old .mac mail look below. looks hideous. if that is good design then i'm missing something. also the mail window is wider than the grey apple.com tabs. differnet bleu shades under a dark grey. yak.....

I drink the Apple coolaid as much as anyone, but the new look of the website is flat and boring. Minimalism isn't always better. I hope iTunes isn't updated to look that vanilla.

It was definitely time for a new Apple website. It was more cluttered than the OS X UI...with still a lot of the candy UI from the original iMac days.

Though...could it be any harder to find the Quicktime stuff now?

I like it...and QT comes with iTunes so no problem there.

I wonder why the UK site is the same...

I like the new site design; it feels much fresher.
I liked the simple list of hardware but a site like this doesn't lose much functionality the way it has been designed.

I think once one gets used to it, one will like it much better. I liked the old navbar, but I thought it was also kind of cluttery. Sometimes there were just soooo many buttons.

On some pages, there's a mini sitemap like thing in the footer, which is reminiscent of the old navbar. That helps.

I liked the old navbar. But I LOVE the new navbar. But I would have made it perhaps a bit lighter than the darker shade of grey.

And agreed the new polished logo...I need more timet o digest that.
