What? Why did i bring success into the conversation? Because that's what a device needs to stay afloat. If a device is a failure then it wouldn't be successful. The ipad is a success and the numbers speak for themselves.

You should really do some research

Research into what? You brought up success when all I was saying is I don't like a tablet with a stripped OS. Just because the iPad may be successful (based on your frame of reference) doesn't mean it's the only device for me. I wasn't even talking about whether the device was successful or not.

Looks like techcrunch is reporting that HP is killing off the slate. So we have another source corroborating the other report.

Too bad, I was looking forward to this, even if it was underpowered (atom processor).

Well back to the drawing board for HP.
