Simple binary poll to get a sense of how the two war camps are currently shaping up on the forums...

;)

I used to be an Apple fanboy back in the Mac OS X Tiger days, but sadly since then Apple has been veering off of what I thought made it great.

I enjoy the Apple culture, however. :)

Neither, I'm neutral. I'll buy Apple products when I think that they are best fit for my needs and buy other products when they aren't. An example being my preference of the Kindle over the iPad.

This poll is for extremists. What about the rest of us?

Move to Switzerland. ;)

This poll is intentionally binary, with no middle ground, in order to emphasize the ridiculously extremist nature of much of what passes for discussion these days. And not just in these forums, but on rest of the Internet, and society in general.

Yer either with us or yer against us!

You need an option for Apple customers. I'm not an Apple Fanboy or hater. I do post negative things about re iPhone 4 issues and that we pay $1199 for a low end 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, but I have nice things to say too. So I'm not a hater or fanboy.

Where's the option for "Long time fan that remains critical of Apple regardless of his joy using most Apple products"

I've used macs since my first 512k when I was a kid. I'm an avid fan, and now work in the IT industry. I love Apple products, but they don't have any extra leniency in my book. If anything, they have less. I am more critical about their products because I use, and like, them so much.

I currently own and operate a Mac Mini Server, a MacBook Pro, a MacBook, 2 iPhone 4's, an iPad, 3x iPods (4th Gen, Current Nano, older Touch), 2X Airport Extreme N's. This is not counting the utility room full of retired hardware I have (I still have the 512k that began my journey). I'm also called an Apple hater some days, and a fanboi others. Basically depends on the bias of whoever quotes me.

I would consider myself a very experienced Mac user.

Neither,
I'm not a fanboy or a hater.

I like apple products, those that fit my needs and those that don't, I pass on. I neither hate, nor love apple. Its a multibillion dollar corporation, and being such I don't really bow down at the alter of apple.

This poll is intentionally binary
I would have said I am a "neutral" user of Apple products.
I am however not an unquestioning, KoolAid drinking fan of Apple, Inc.

But since you seem obliged to force me into either of two camps and considering their disastrous PR:

Apple h8tr.

I'm neither. I love the Mac and prefer it over Windows, but I wouldn't say I'm mad about the company. I do like following all the news and stuff though.

I'm neither, but I hate the fanboys and I hate the haters. But I think I hate the irrational fanboys more, so I guess given the options, that makes me a hater?
