Apple Fitness helped me get in shape and create great habits, Peloton helped take me to the next level. If you’re new to fitness or trying to get back into it, I really believe Apple Fitness is a better on ramp. The more experienced I think will be happier with Peloton.

For me, it's Kym on cycling... She makes me sweat quite a bit. And come spring time, my bike legs are quite ready for the hills nearby!
Agreed.

The article omits mention of the outdoor video rides that attracted me to getting a Peloton bike until they almost went belly-up post-COVID. I ended up getting the same bikes they use on Fitness+ and running the FulGaz app which is outstanding.

Wow, the classes and features that Peloton offers were really downplayed. Apple Fitness+ lacks so much, including the A+ instructors. I tried the Apple program and it seemed infantile compared to Peloton. I think it might be good for kids and people who only workout occasionally. Peloton is the way to go for those who workout frequently and use the platform on a consistent basis.
I agree with this. Apple Fitness is more like excercise entertainment for beginners. The bulk of the workouts are in the 10 to 20 minute variety and the classes are very basic. It's not training for athletes or serious workout advice. It's more like a family friendly class at the local YMCA.

Ah yeah, Fitness+ which is still not available in my and many other counties… yeah…
