I got that however it is far inferior to what others access, privacy claim or not. Apple needs something more or they will need to continue relying on other AI’s.

By the way, who saw the latest OpenAI hire? Former head of NAS.

Good thing there are alternatives. Elon Musk (co-founder of OpenAI / ChatGP and former board of director of OpenAI / ChatGPT) is launching an other AI company.

Also I'm kinda suprised how Google were able to mess up AI as on paper they should be the leading authority on AI and Machine Learning. So how long is OpenAI / ChatGPT in the leading position?

Hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂

He wasn’t a founder. He and Altman came on the board by raising money for them.

ChatGPT didn’t exist at the time. Transformer models didn’t exist at the time.

See who's name is listed there. Elon Musk was a co-founder of OpenAI whether you like it or not.

You are worried that US government might control ChatGPT, but would be willing to give your data to the megalomaniac Musk? That's an interesting stance.

Yeah why leave out the first paragraph that lists the actual founders and who were only board members

“It was founded by Ilya Sutskever, Greg Brockman, Trevor Blackwell, Vicki Cheung, Andrej Karpathy, Durk Kingma, Jessica Livingston, John Schulman, Pamela Vagata, and Wojciech Zaremba, with Sam Altmanand Elon Musk serving as the initial Board of Directors members”

The fact that you said Musk founded ChatGPT means you’re the one who need deep history lessons.

Read my post again. I said co-founder.

And look at your own quote.

"with Sam Altmann and Elon Musk serving as the initial Board of Directors members

So I am correct what I said, that Elon Musk was a co-founder and was on the board of directors.

So before you insult someone that a person needs history lesson, make sure that you are not the one who that applies to at first.

Wall Street Silver and Kimdotcom regularly post conspiracy theories to manipulate followers many of whom are nutty extremists who think the world is going to end.

It’s good to be skeptic when ex government people join companies but it’s also because corporations like to employ them not for “spying” purposes but just to rub elbows and be friendly with regulators.

Look at the names of the people who were on Theranos’s board. Looks freaky right? They all left with egg on their faces. No big brother conspiracy needed.

Frequently it is the circle of contacts these companies want or the realm of influence

He lives under Putin. Before that he fled to China..."for safety".

Snark much? You really, as was mentioned, should fact check your history.

”Edward Snowden's choice of Hong Kong as a haven from where to leak intelligence documents and to unmask himself as a whistleblower rests on calculations on the territory's press freedom safeguards and its extradition treaty with the US.”

To a very large extent Hong Kong is China. ( by 2013 it was clear that the '50 years to transition from one china two states' to whatever the central government wanted wasn't going to be followed by the China central government. )

While on 'paper' there was a extradition to USA, pragmatically if the China central government emphatically said no , it wouldn't happen. All the illusion that Hong Kong is distinct in an extradition respect has entirely evaporated now (2020). It was all a part of trying to appear wrapping himself in 'free press' and 'freedom' while trying to be a close as possible to cutting a deal with China, Russia , North Koreans, etc. There were direct flights to Vladivostok every day from Hong Kong at that time. China is a quick car trip to the border. North Koreans were smuggling stuff out of HK on a regular basis. etc.

He picked a place where extradition was pragmatically hard; not easy. The 'press freedom' was primarily for the ease of travel for the media connections he was looking to leverage.

Snowden 'hoovered up' everything he could get his hands on. He picked a place where he had some control to negotiate a deal after he did his "public service" data dump as 'air cover'.
