Apple iPhone 4 Orders Stuck in Newark

NJ ABOUT 50 MINS FROM NEWARK.. BUT MY POINT IS THE SYSTEM STILL SAID IT WAS THERE AND I GUESS IT NEVER UPDATED
called fedex, they kept saying my package is supposed to be here thursday. but if its been on its way from newark since 3:30 this morning, it should definitely be at my local fedex whateveryoucallit by now.. it's only like a 3 or 4 hour drive. hopefully it shows up today and they just aren't updating it.
It departed Newark to Memphis and got there quickly....left Memphis at 3am....but nothing since....even though the plane ride is very short from Memphis to DC
Try calling FedEx IPD (1800-455-4588). WAY more helpful than the customer service. They told me my package in on the truck for delivery but the customer service representatives told me I will not get it until tomorrow. Just tell them a chat agent gave you the number when they answer.
Mine says it departed Newark at 10 pm last night. I live in Westchester so the drive is about 2 hours. Nothing has updated since then. I spoke to 2 reps who both stated that regardless of what email you received from the sender, in our system it states delivery for the 24th. Maybe it will be delivered directly from Newark but know knows. Some might get lucky, but it seems as if they are un-aware of the delivery day switch.

Thank you! Fedex.com says it left Newark 12 hours ago. Newark is 20 minutes from my house.
That number connected me to a person immediately and she told me it's on the truck right now for delivery!
Wow, thank you so much. That's a great number... A person picked up instantly and told me that both of my iPhones are already on the truck and out for delivery, one to NJ (home) and one to NY (work). Mind you, the tracking numbers on the website shows outdated information: "arrived at FedEx location, Newark" and "departed from FedEx location, Newark."
I'll take her word for it, and I'm all set to go!

She actually sounded fake/automated but I asked a specific question that only a human could answer. She's a pro.
Amen. This woman showed me that it WAS DELIVERED even though tracking shows it being on the ramp

Guys, don't worry. My status never updated (said that it was still at the sorting desk, delivers on the 24th) but I just got my iPhone 4! 😀

Really!! This is complete BS. My phone was in the shipment that was scanned into Newark at 2:38 am on the 22nd. I live less than 5 miles from newark, and after calling the FEDEX IPD line, am told that the phone is still in newark and will not be delivered until tomorrow.
What the F**K is that about. I am probably (aside from living in newark) the person here who lives closest to the facility, and people out on the Island are receiving theirs before I see mine. This is totally whack.
As i said earlier, i was looking at getting the phone possibly yesterday or today as a bonus, as i was expecting Thursday, but when I get an email from Apple telling me that It'll be here earlier and I get nada, that really grinds my gears. Now it is inevitable, I will have do deal with impossible wait times to get my phone activated tomorrow. Looks like I'll be using my 3G until I get back from my weekend trip next monday.......
