I'm not going to be dramatic about this,
but Apple is dead to me.
I feel robbed.
And the Academy Award for the most dramatic post goes to...@deeds500!

I still love and will use Apple products. However I am a bit disappointed by today's offerings.
So much so I'm willing to keep using my broken iPhone 6 Plus for yet another year.
and i still use my iPhone 4, which still works fineOh, IDK.
I had a working HTC Touch Pro running Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro from May 2009 to July 2013 when I passed it on to someone so they could keep their plan. It worked pretty well, despite being dropped several times and once kicked accidentally on a concrete sidewalk for 10 feet.
My iPhone 5 on the other hand has been replaced three times since September 2012.
On the third hand my 6s+ has bee solid for two years.
Guess it just depends on what you get.
no come on, HTC windows mobile wasn't even working well the day it was build.
I thought I did pretty good. Sense 2.1 w/Weather, all done with CAB files - no ROMs.no come on, HTC windows mobile wasn't even working well the day it was build.
I have a 4s and an iPad Air 2 along with my 5. Mostly Macs in our house though, but only 1 Intel Mac.and i still use my iPhone 4, which still works fine
we have an awful lot of apple devices in our Family and not 1 failed as of today, not even a button that stopped working.
HTC is a manufacturer of smartphones.lol I don't even know what this means?
"I'm not going to be dramatic about this"
*Is dramatic about this*
What would you like to see new added to the iPhone? Smartphones have reached a peak where they do everything most people want them to do. Companies still come out with new gimmicks to sell people on upgrades, but they are getting close to new announcements being about as exciting as new appliances being announced.
That is what Apple has done since the original iPhone though, they take things that other devices have and make them work better together. There were few if any original features on the first gen iPhone or any since then.I get that they have reached a peak. But everything on the X is unoriginal. All Apple is doing is playing catch up. Big screen, oled display, edge to edge, face recognition...what Apple is promoting as the X's key features other smartphones already have, yet Apple makes it seem like these features are new and ingenius. Give me a break. Seriously this year's iphone was meant to be a breakthrough and all we got are the same old same old incremental improvements. I'm not asking for much, but something to make me go wow I want that phone would have been nice. As it stands, there's nothing about the X to make me go wow I want that phone. Nothing whatsoever. The Note 8 on the otherhand....
Good luck with your Android experience. It will certainly not be worse than iOS. Plus the cost is a little better at something like $930US....Time to start looking at the Note 8 because Apple is dead to me after this keynote.

It's where all the Apple haters go once a year. Six months they back when Samsung phone hangs up, freezes, slows down. This is the only reason I visit Macrumors.
Apple is pretty much doomed since 2007. Next year they will go bankrupt.
Less exited on event
Less people clapping on event
Less people smiling on event
12 months long and same bottle again and again
Is it too much to ask for the iphone to deliver something original and new? Iphone 4s was the last time that happened. And piece of **** Samsung??? Go check out the reviews of the Note 8, its capabilities leave the X looking like a dinosaur.
You a school teacher?Ok, but then why post this:
Seems like overly dramatic to me.
And all of the leaks basically described what the phone was going to be to a "T" so this shouldn't have surprised or disappointed you.
Actually Samsung phones are excellent, and all of the features of the X have been on the **** Samsung phone for years.
Maybe your hands are always dirtyHey, let's wait a bit and have a first-hand experience with the new phone before bushing it. i'd rather have less new features then many poorly performing ones. Like fingerprint scanner on my 5s worked 2 times out of 3 - so I completely stopped using it till getting replacement phone with properly working sensor. Well working sensor changed the way I work with the phone. Same with Siri. If it can get accuracy of Alexa and be a bit smarter I would actually use it - it would be a new awesome thing for me. Remember Chinese phones with build in TV and toasters - I don't think I want iPhone to remind me of them.
Cool. See ya. Enjoy your $1k Note 8 which is barely faster than a cheap OnePlus5, and still slower than last year's iPhone 7, which is now cheaper than the Note8.I'm not going to be dramatic about this, but Apple is dead to me.
Okay, they were not sophisticated enough to imbed a touch id button under the screen so instead they go with Face ID. That's fine. But don't take us for fools by using Face ID as one of the X's big ticket items. I feel robbed. We already had a security measure in place, so what do they do, use an alternative security measure as a big new thing to come to iphone because they have hardly anything else to talk about, they have run out of ideas, there is nothing new with the X
Wireless charging. Yea great. Now iphone is only 2 years behind every other phone.
Oled display. Seriously is Apple that bereft of ideas that they have to talk about what every other ****ing smartphone in 2017 has?
Better camera and more powerful chip. This is what you can expect to be the big feature next year because they will have nothing new for next year so expect a better camera and a more powerful chip next year too.
This was supposed to be the biggy. This year Apple was supposed to come out of its post Steve Jobs shell and deliver. **** them, all they did was another incremental upgrade, and I'm talkking about the iphone x.
Where's the big softeare features? Still the same boring as ******* grid of apps, no ability to customise, not even split screen multitasking, it's 2017 for crying out loud. - "the most advanced mobile phone operating system" - yea right, pig's farking ass it is.
Time to start looking at the Note 8 because Apple is dead to me after this keynote.
