Other Apple May Not Have a 5G iPhone Next Year

Think about it. 5G is nowhere near where it should be still in the US and Apple is known to be late to the game.

I think a lot of people will be disappointed when next year's iPhone doesn't have 5G because 5G will not be ready in 12 months.

They don’t have a choice, period. Qualcomm controls the 5G Patents If Apple wants to make a phone they license a Radio stack and chipset from Qualcomm period. Even if they choose a 4G LTE Option Samsung, and Google already have Orders in for 5G packages in Qualcomm’s RoadMap.

Imagine the Note 11 5G the Pixel 5G, and the 4G IPhone 12

It’s just not gonna happen on many levels.

I’d buy Qualcomm stock and did 20 years ago, for now til the end of our lifetimes if you want to make a cellphone you need to pay Qualcomm period. You don’t need Apple but you sure need Qualcomm.

Not bothered about 5G. 4G coverage here in the UK is poor, so 5G wouldn’t be much better!

Apple will likely have 5G next year, but most likely only in Sub 6 Ghz support, and mmWave comes later.
