Apple Music appears to be down? Can't get Genius results "error 502" for the past several hours on the Mac

What's up with that? Denmark resident. Denmark is located in Scandinavia before anyone asks.

Apple System Status reports nothing wrong

One could then wonder when or how Apple thinks something is down... I think it's rather major to not be able to listen to the music I pay a hefty subscription for each month.

I reinstalled macOS Monterey earlier today and have not been able to get my library downloaded except for the odd iTunes LP files

I agree! I wish Apple would admit when they're having problems with one of their services rather than pretending everything is working perfectly on their website

Same over here (Belgium). Can't even add new music to the library. Very very inconvenient!

Thanks, Apple.

Perhaps if we sleep on it, then tomorrow it will all have been resolved in Europe. What am I even doing up at this hour.

edit.. contacting support through a rather tedious process isn't something I'm about to do.

"Hey Apple.. in case you didn't know, I and many others, can't access Apple Music properly"

"Hello Allan, thank you for contacting Apple Support. We will respond to your inquiry on weekdays. Today is Sunday you fool, did you expect us to work on a Sunday.. If our services are down, they're down and you can stick it up your butt. Kind regards, Apple Support Team"

Yea,, not doing that

1:37 Edit.. Apple Music is back, baby!
Just talking about writing to support really does help it would seem.

It's getting even worse... Now the song content of all my self-created playlists have disappeared from all my devices as well. Only the smart playlists remain. What is going on here? Hope this data re-appears as I've been creating these playlists for something like 15 years or so...

Down here in the US on my Mac. Saw the system status showed online so I logged out and logged back in, no access to anything now.

I opened a support case and gave them all the information I could. This must not be broken for everyone? Or do that few people use any library features?

This began happening to me earlier today. No issues with my iPad or iPhone. I called Applecare & advisor had me capture data to send to the engineers. Issue persists.

I can add music to the library again now, but all songs I added manually to self-created playlists have disappeared. The smart playlists are working OK though and all songs are still available and streaming OK on all devices. Also, when I add music to my library it syncs with all my other devices. All personal ratings are still there with all songs as well. So all my manually created lists are still showing as a title, but all the content has disappeared somehow. Is this just a local thing because I did something stupid, or is anyone having the same problem still?

Apple online services are not as reliable as their competition, unfortunately. Hey, being from Denmark why not support your Swedish neighbours and use Spotify instead? I have not had a single outage with them over the last 10 years or so.

Hi all,

Mine's still not synching, returning songs. Have about 90,000 missing from my Mac, but all still seems to be on my phone. Don't know what to do next ? :(
