It really has become incredibly enjoyable and seems to reliably work like you would expect now. Apple has a really unique value proposition now that iCloud Music Library comes with all of the functionality of iTunes Match integrated (which should have been the case from the start) and your subscription music beautifully joins the content of your existing library. On the flip side, Apple Music was barely a beta-quality product when it was released. I think that made them lose a lot of good will in the beginning, and it's hard to regain trust once it's been lost.
