Apple Music Launches Monthly Replay Experience

Apple avoids working on the Music app so much that it made an Apple Music feature but forced it to be browser only

where the hell are the devs in this multi trillion dollar company?

Honestly, how is Apple Music still so ****** backwards and difficult to use?
 
Good to see monthly statistics. Wonder why Apple is not offering it on the app.
 
I think there is a motive behind this. The only reason I can see Apple doing this stupid web move vs app is for some cookie data-gathering scheme from your browser. Otherwise, there is no reason why the music app couldn't do this. It's not like you have to log in to Safari to get an Apple playlist that's on the for you tab.
 
But there is a 2024 Replay playlist that is updated every week on the music app.. not sure if it was rolled out today but it’s there
 
How do I get my playlist for 2024? I go to the site, click jump in, and scroll to the bottom. When it says open in Apple Music, I just get a blank tab (On Mobile) or nothing happens (On the mac). Is there another way to get the replay playlist for this year? I haven't been able to get it since it was released the first time and for some reason I can't get it now. I listened to 3487 minutes of music in January, and I listened to a lot of music in February so that should be enough time.

It may be a 17.4 feature that is available on the beta, not sure as I am always on the latest beta. I was sent a notification from the music app yesterday about my 2024 playlist and there it was. What you’re describing is the same thing that happens to my friends’ phones when they try to join my CarPlay SharePlay session but are not updated, so the music app gives them an error that the link led to a unavailable resource. Not 100% sure just my guess. Also, I listen to A LOT of music on Apple Music so not sure how much play time is needed for the playlist.

I’m used to most of the people around me not having the features I have because I’m always ahead. I’ve always experienced a delay in feature rollout so haven’t really seen a ‘successful launch’ on my end in years 😂
