Same here… Region is Belgium, and it never worked since the Big Sur Beta.
Maybe all of us are in Belgium or we all tried the Beta first and that messed with our account?

Technically, the problem seems to be a 400 Bad Request coming back from Apple servers in response to the recommendations API. So, I suspect it is something region or account/library related. You can see this in the Safari debugger on beta.music.apple.com.
I guess when doing the login/logout trick, it initially cannot do a full recommendations request because it is still loading your library, so then it works.

Here more of the same, listen now not working. Logging of and back in works but after a restart it doesn't anymore.
But once I have dragged the 'Chill mix', 'Favorite mix' from Apple Music in the left column and via this 'short cut' I just can lister to those mixes not 'the solution' of course but still.
Far from ideal indeed, because then you're still missing out on things like new releases, but it's a great workaround! You just need to wait until your library has been fully loaded (status bar in the bottom left corner), otherwise they just bounce back.

Same issue here on mbp 2019 (15 inch).

Also from Belgium.

Tried to remove caches, login/logout of iTunes. But no success. Really annoying. No issues on Ipad/Iphone.

So far it seems to be working again for me after updating to macOS 11.1, even on music.apple.com it now works.

I had the same issue. Finally realised that for some reason, Apple Music was checked in:

Music > Preferences > Restrictions > Disable

I think that if iTunes Store is disabled in that preference pane, you lose access to Listen Now and Browse options in Apple Music.

For one reason or another, the Listen Now error is back on my iMac. Don't know how or why.
Still works perfectly fine on my Macbook Pro, same version of Mac OS...

Edit : same problem again on music.apple.com, Macbook Pro as well... iPhone and iPad ok. Very peculiar...
