The "whining" made it faster? Or it's slower because of "planned obsolescence"?
Quite a juxtaposition (and that's basically a euphemism) just to fit it in with whatever latest story is being spun and deflected.

How could anything the taken as anything but silly when the story changes from one opposite to another.

Look at the word "overall"

You somehow didn't mean that iOS 10 was making things worse overall when you tired to make the "planned obsolescence" argument in relation to it? So the "planned obsolescence" argument there was only in application to a few apps, but not overall iOS 10 and how things perform on iOS devices with iOS 10 where things are supposedly faster? How is that "planned obsolescence" then? Are you really trying to deflect things by pointing out how they just don't make sense? Things just can't be both ways. It's all just simply beyond obvious and silly.

Seems like you're pressing firmly into the screen every time you interact with it therefore you're used to applying that same amount of pressure every press.

I have never had an issue deleting apps. I just tried it now and the level of pressure to delete apps differs greatly compared to 3D Touch.

Someone else said it before:

1. lightly touch (place finger on screen with little/to no pressure) the screen to open an app (swipe, "left click", ...)
2. lightly hold finger (place finger on screen with little/to no pressure for a long time) on app to induce jiggle (delete apps)
3. Press in on screen to enable 3D touch.

If you get used to things differently it works really well. I did help a coworker figure it out, she was always pressing hard, so she didn't understand the difference.

Fate/GO performs faster in iOS 10 than in iOS 9. And notorious game lag while engaging auto brightness has improved in iOS 10.
Go figure your "planned obsolescence " as a whole, although I do believe Apple and all tech giants are pushing planned obsolescence.

And that all falls apart if you have a differently abled person who has trouble differentiating pressure. And yes, that is a thing.

So far, 3D touch is not a requirement, one can turn it off and do everything. But removing a feature because of such a small population would be crazy... I have a feeling, that once 3D touch is introduced to ipads for a few generations, one will be required to use it for important features.

Things are going away, regardless of those with medical issues. I'm sure there were people with medical issues who's issues made physical keyboards easier, it still went away.

Seriously? They put this option here for a reason...
