Not in the iOS lineup to this point though
That's a Mac narrative, I agree, but not iOS so far.

Who says it has to be a $300 device? Some of us just want a smaller phone that fits better in our pocket.

Apple has probably sold 600 million + of the 4.7 inch iPhones, fitting in everyone's pockets around the world.

Yet the Honey I've Shrunk the Family Crowd will complain because they can't handle a phone that's less of an inch wider.

Actually I want an even smaller phone than the SE. About 3 inches would be ideal.

The Mac Mini is also one of Apple's least important product categories, and the iPhone is #1.

If they've not updated a product in three years in their hottest product category, they probably won't.

Bad comparison.
Actually, it was your argument that should have been clearer then. You're moving the goalposts here.

I have the perfect phone for you.

Haha, that's not far off from what I want. My first smartphone was a LG that was 3 inches (maybe less). That one maxed out at 3G speed. Would love to have a phone that size with 4G LTE speed. As it stands, the SE is a pretty awesome phone. It has twice the RAM of my iPhone 6 and the chip is about 80% stronger than the iPhone 6 as well. The SE is a little speed demon.
