Sorry if this has been asked already but if using the new sport loop bands and the charger which comes with the watch, do you have to unhook one side every time you need to charge?

If you hear the charging sound it I alright. I turn the Sport Loop up side down so the bottom is complete free :)

Not sure what you mean, but the charger that ships in the box can connect to the bottom of the Watch without removing the Watch band.

You would need to "unhook" one of the adapters so it could sit on the coming AirPower charging mat however.

As long the Sport Loop is not made of aluminium, it should work fine without "unhooking" on AirPower. It's not thicker than an iPhone case. But that's just theory need to be proven.
[doublepost=1511701887][/doublepost]While visiting London today I had the chance to get my hands on the new Hermès Single Tour Médor at the Apple Regent Street. Quality and "look and feel" is what you expect from Hermès, the studs matches a stainless steel watch nicely. There's something about this band I really like—and something I don't. (Not talking about the price tag.) What's your opinion?

Here is the new Dark Teal Sports Band with the Cosmos Blue Leather iPhone case. I think they go well together. Bear in mind I started using the leather case on the day the iPhone X launched, so it is a month old and slightly darker than when new.

....not being funny but your lighting in that pic is WAAAAY off!!!!

I also have the Cosmos Blue leather case (its only a few months old) sitting on my iPhone 8 Plus, right in front of me and its WAY lighter in colour than your case!!! Your pic makes it look like Midnight Blue or even black....!??!

The actual real life colour is nothing like the colour in your photo.

I have to admit the more I wear the Sport Loop the better I like it. Some might think it's not classy and feels like a cheap cable tie from IKEA (actually that's what I initially was thinking of), but the band is really comfortable and became my favorite for everyday use.

Give it a try, I highly recommend it.

The newly released Nike+ Midnight Fog is the third band from the right/bottom.

Comfort aside, the only reason that I am wary of it is how ‘velcro’ typically frays over time. Now I know this is Apple-designed but I’m still cautious, and yes, I also thought it looked cheap. Has anyone experienced any over-use or over-stretching or anything that damages the Sport Loop with daily use? Coming from a heavy advocate for the original Sport bands...

I've worn the black Sport loop a bunch, and had no problem with it, other than the aesthetic problem that it doesn't bend tightly enough through the loop side to lay as flat as I'd like. That is, I could probably pull it tight, but then it'd be playing tourniquet; worn at normal tightness, it sticks up/out a bit (the Leather Loop, by comparison, lays very flat through its "U-turn"). I was hoping it would "wear in" more, forming a crease, but maybe I haven't worn it enough yet.

Aside from that, it holds up well, is comfy and lightweight, and I don't see any signs of wearing in the attachment mechanism.

I only have the non-Nike black version, but it certainly isn't my last.. Simply love this band...

Thinking about the olive. Should be a good match for my SS

....what's that blue coloured one, 4th from left - I thought the only 'blue' style was the Midnight Blue (3rd from left)??

I also can't see that colour on Apple's website??

EDIT: Ok, seems to be the limited edition watch with strap only available via the Nike website:

Yeah, I think Midnight Fog only comes with the Nike+ Apple Watch itself. Not sure you can purchase it on its own.

I think it looks a bit goth and would expect the person wearing it to be dressed in black, with dark eye makeup and studded shoes lol Just my personal opinion though

Based on that, I thought maybe my wife might like Cobalt Blue, only to find it’s sold out over here! Thankfully I got her Ultra Violet before that one also disappeared.

I would always try to see the bands IRL if at all possible before buying; pictures on the internet (plus mostly uncalibrated displays) are very rarely spot on. The blues in the picture above for instance are much darker IRL in most lighting conditions (I own the ocean and midnight blue bands and briefly had the dark teal before sending it back). I would guess the picture was taken in (very) bright outside light.

38mm, but as the future remarked, hard to tell without seeing it first!

I agree, lighting is extremely subjective. The only time you can be sure of the color is when you are looking at it with your own eyes. This photo was taken outside on a cloudy day but the light is still relatively bright-

Finally got Flash and Dark Teal today. Just Spicy Orange remains to keep my Sport Band collection complete. Shown in their drawers:
2nd pic: Yellow, Pollen, Flash, and original Green from 2015.
3rd pic: Azure, Ocean Blue, Blue Cobalt, Dark Teal, and Midnight Blue.
